SELL THE DREAM, NOT THE “CREAM.”
The vast majority of people who are building a marketing businesses got in because they saw a financial opportunity, and/or an opportunity to improve the quality of their lives.
.
Most people would go hungry before going out and “selling” something. However, almost everyone would like to earn more money, or have more control of their lives, or have more time freedom, or be debt-free, or never to have to answer to a boss again, etc.
What do you think would motivate people most to invest time, money and effort into building a business?
People ultimately get into the business because they have a dream of getting more out of life. And you have a business system that has the potential to help them achieve their dreams.
So your job is to SELL THE DREAM, NOT THE “CREAM.”
(The “cream” being your products or services.)
Talk to people about their dreams. Find out what they need out of life, then show them how your company can be the vehicle to help them achieve these dreams and goals
No matter how excited you are about your products/services, they’re simply the means to an end. Find out what’s not working in your prospects’ lives.
Find out what they would like to change, then show them how your business, and the products/services you offer, can help them achieve these dreams.
